Drive-by-Bully Prevention

Health and wellness are brain-based as the brain is involved whether we are emotionally or physically ill. Unhealthy lifestyle choices and risky behaviors may be new and novel or embedded into dysfunctional bully-type personalities; however, individuals and organizations are finding that these unhealthy behaviors and practices can be challenging to change and redirect. This problematic issue may be the result of a cognitive change from internal and external forces that have damaged the brain, which may result in impaired function and compromised decision-making. Millions of bully-prevention dollars are spent on healthy workplace culture promotion material that targets bully behaviors and bully triad accountability, but the content is not specific enough to influence change. This form of drive-by-bully prevention does create mindfulness about bullying, but a broader scope of support is needed for lasting change concerning positive workplace behaviors and bully triad accountability.
